Terms of Service

By creating an account, joining a match, purchasing Premium, or otherwise using SearchDraft, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

SearchDraft is an online draft game where players pick entities and rankings are produced from historical search-interest data and related product systems. Features may include Solo Draft, Private rooms, Daily Challenge, Public lobbies, leaderboards, cosmetics, Premium, and related social tools. We may change, pause, or discontinue features as we iterate in public.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use SearchDraft. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

3. Accounts

• Keep your login credentials secure.
• Provide accurate information and do not impersonate others or claim false affiliations.
• You are responsible for activity under your account. Contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.
• Usernames and some profile fields may be limited for uniqueness, safety, or product rules.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other players, or use the product for illegal activity.
• Cheat in ways that undermine fair play (for example exploiting bugs, bots that abuse competitive modes, or coordinating unofficial advantage schemes we prohibit).
• Attempt to disrupt, scrape at abusive scale, reverse engineer, or overload our systems or third-party data providers.
• Upload or submit unlawful, infringing, or highly sensitive personal information as picks, messages, or reports.
• Circumvent caps, ad gates, payments, or access controls.

We may investigate reports, remove content, reset progress, restrict features, or suspend/terminate accounts for violations.

5. Gameplay, data sources, and results

Rankings depend on third-party search-interest and entity data, our comparison-graph systems, and product rules that can change. Scores can differ across providers, time windows, locations, and metrics. Results are for entertainment. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect data accuracy, or identical outcomes across every mode or retry.

Daily Challenge and Public lobbies may use caps, soft ranks, pending overnight freezes, Elo rules, and other competitive settings described in-product. Private rooms and Solo are primarily social/practice and may not affect global competitive boards.

6. Virtual items and SearchBucks

SearchBucks, cosmetics, badges, and similar items have no cash value, are not redeemable for money, and may be modified or removed as we operate the game. Unless required by law, purchases and grants are non-refundable once delivered.

7. Premium Season Pass

Premium is a paid entitlement for a defined season window and benefits described at purchase time (for example higher Daily/Public caps, Host pack features, ad-light experiences in some modes, and related perks). Payments are processed by Stripe. Taxes may apply. Benefits end when the season entitlement expires unless renewed or otherwise stated.

8. Advertising

Free play may include server-gated interstitial ads between games when ads are enabled. Premium may reduce or skip certain ad experiences as described in-product. Do not click ads fraudulently or encourage others to do so.

9. Intellectual property

SearchDraft branding, UI, code, and original content are owned by us or our licensors. You retain rights to feedback you send us; you grant us a license to use feedback to improve the product without obligation to you.

Entity names, trademarks, and third-party data remain the property of their respective owners. SearchDraft is not affiliated with Google or other data providers unless explicitly stated.

10. Third-party services

The service depends on third parties (auth, hosting, payments, trends providers, analytics, and more). Their terms and availability can affect SearchDraft. We are not responsible for third-party outages or policy changes outside our control.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR UNINTERRUPTED.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SEARCHDRAFT AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR PREMIUM IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold SearchDraft harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14. Termination

You may stop using SearchDraft at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk/harm, or if we discontinue the service. Provisions that should survive (including IP, disclaimers, limits of liability, and indemnity) will survive termination.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms as SearchDraft evolves. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory local consumer law requires otherwise. Courts in that jurisdiction will have exclusive venue for disputes that are not resolved informally, except where prohibited.
