About SearchDraft

What it is

SearchDraft is a multiplayer (and solo) draft game. You pick athletes, artists, brands, movies, games, places, food, internet culture, and more. When the round resolves, SearchDraft ranks those picks using historical Google search-interest style data for the location, timeframe, and metric you chose.

The pitch is simple: culture is the scoreboard. You’re competing on what people actually searched for — not obscure facts, not votes, not “who do you think is more famous.”

Why we built it

Fantasy sports taught a generation to argue with data. SearchDraft applies that instinct to everything else people care about. Matches are short. Arguments are instant. Every board feels different when you change year, country, or ranking method.

We care about fun first. Ultra-competitive ladders and hosted events can live in Host/private formats; Daily and social modes stay soft enough that friends actually play.

How you can play

• Daily Challenge — timed solo cards with soft overnight ranks and shareable results.
• Public lobbies — curated snake drafts with Elo and leaderboards.
• Private rooms — invite friends, host settings, table talk, rematch.
• Solo Draft — practice against bots with full custom boards.

Building in public

SearchDraft is an independent product under active development. We ship features, write about progress on the landing roadmap, and iterate from real playtests. Soft-launch hardening (rooms, scoring reliability, Premium, friends) comes before marketing fireworks.
